We would like to announce that we are formally withdrawing from the Sierra Leone Fintech Challenge 2017 following discussions with Financial Sector Deepening Africa (FSDA) who represented the other principals of the Challenge including the Bank of Sierra Leone and the UN Capital Development Fund’s Mobile Money for the Poor.
Salton Massally, Co-founder and Chief Technical Officer at iDT Labs, says:
“Our withdrawal from the Challenge will allow other aspiring Fintech companies, many of whom are Sierra Leoneans, to access the much needed support from the Challenge. We look forward to developing our Fintech solutions and implementation outside the Fintech Challenge 2017, and will work with stakeholders in Sierra Leone to achieve universal financial inclusion under the leadership of the Bank of Sierra Leone.”
