Started in 2013, Careers.sl is West Africa's first digital platform for jobs, connecting job seekers and employers and making labour markets work better. The portal wanted to address the lack of good opportunities and high search costs for job seekers, and the unavailability of suitable candidates for employers.

By leveraging innovative and low cost technologies, including mobile apps and SMS, Careers Sierra Leone became the first online space in Sierra Leone where job seekers and employers could interact in a risk free and cost efficient way and fulfil their search requirements. It has over the years expanded into other West African territories.
